    Its about a friend wth a drug habit. itching to leave to go get high, yet wanting to have normal friends and hang out. its about watching someone suffering and being concerned about them being torn and conflicted.

    I think it's about a father who sees his son, who had issues growing up, is grown and sees how he still doesn't fit in his own skin. Always tense, always on the move

    Actually a song about being a fairly crap friend and not being around for people, hence the title off he goes. Have heard it mentioned that Eddie is referring to himself.
