This song is one of my fav because i been there what the girl has i still go thru probs with depression abuse sucide everything and these kinda songs give me hope to keep living and i am a still pushing forward no matter what God bless you all

   Pink originally (or so i've heard) made this song based off of a gay guy's proposal to his boy friend. He wrote a song to him to propose. But even without knowing that you can tell that without a doubt this song is dedicated to anyone who feels like they're not good enough, because it seems to me that good qualities tend to stick to your back. You're so busy looking at other people's backs, at their good qualities, that you can't seem to see your own good qualities shining right behind you. Just my opinion (:

Pink described the process of making the video as a "very emotional experience" and related the core theme of "Fuckin' Perfect" to her yet-to-be-born baby, saying, "I have a life inside of me, and I want her or him to know that I will accept him or her with open and loving and welcoming arms. And though I will prepare this little munchkin for a sometimes cruel world, I will also equip this kid to see all the beauty in it as well."     I think p!nk just wants to say that no matter what everyone else things of you, you are perfect. Every person is perfect in their own way. It might just be me but everytime I listen to this song I can hear her voice crack and it sounds like she is going to cry. This song is about her and how she has messed up in her life and felt like she's not perfect. She struggled through her life. She wasn't treated right. I don't know that for sure but that's what I get from the song. She wants people to be able to listen to this song and feel like they are perfect because she wants them to have a good life . Perfect is an amazing song and helped me realize I was perfect and didn't need to change.=)

    I'm 55, 56 in October and I simply love this song. Although some may find the use of curse words in music/video as inappropriate..in this case I feel it's
    tastefully done and adds depth and meaning
    to the message behind the lyrics which is left upto the listeners interpretation.
    
    To me, the song is sending a clear message to everyone, that many of todays youth are troubled souls...with pressures laid upon them that older generations cannot comprehend or understand. To say simply, it's life - deal with it does not go deep enough into the problems.
    
    Youth today, feel that "Cutting" self-abuse,
    or even "Suicide" are their only viable options as they can not deal with the constant bullying, disrespect, not fitting in...etc.
    
    And as stated here in forums and in the song...to someone, somewhere, you Are fuckin Perfect...keep that foremost in mind and the rest in time will work itself out.

    I think this is for all the young teenagers in the world who think they're less than they are. Appearance is everything in this small world, and many young girls are comparing theirselves to 'what we are supposed to look like'. This is depressing them, making them insecure, feeling completely nothing.
