Better Than Revenge Lyrics

Now go stand in the corner and think about what you did
Ha, time for a little revenge

The story starts when it was hot
And it was summer
And I had it all
I had him right there where I wanted him

She came along
Got him...

This is about Camilla Belle stealing Joe Jonas from Taylor. On a website about Camilla Belle, found on Wikipedia it used to say Camilla Belle is an actress but shes better known for the things that she does on the matress, therefore that shows taylor is talking about her. also the lyrics "c'mon show me how much better you are, is refering to Joe Jonas' song written about taylor where he says the girl he has now is so much better. the lyrics "Oh they didn't teach you that in prep school" is referring to a comment Camilla made to taylor about growing up up a christmas tree farm and how she lot where she is today because of her family being rich, where as taylor had to make it herself.

She meant this song for Camilla Belle who 'stole' Joe Jonas away from her.
    She mentioned in the song:
    'She's just an actress'
    Camilla is an actress.
'No amount of vintage dresses gives you dignity'
Camilla has a huge love for vintage dresses
'Show me how much better you are'
Refers to the song Joe Jonas wrote about his new gf being better than Taylor Swift.
'I like to rhyme her name with things'
In the background, if you listen closely, you can hear 'Camilla Gorilla'

Or atleast, thats what i think (:

This song is about Camilla, the girl who stole Joe Jonas away from her. She was clearly not too happy about it, and mentions details about it throughout the song such as "She's an actress" and how it spells out "You thought I would forget" in the album. Also, it says "Now whose better" which is going back to a song Joe Jonas wrote about why Camilla was better than Taylor. Sucks for you Joe AND Camilla :)

Listen to Misery Business from Paramore. Never liked the words as much as the energy of it. I’ve heard that apartment removed the song from the set because of how it calls the other girl a whore. And this IS probably about Joe and Camilla bit it’s also Taylor’s version of Misery Business, except she’s the girl who loses the guy in it. The lyrics, the melody, you’ll hear it.

This song is all about one thing: REVENGE. Swift is talking about her jealousy of this girl who stole her boyfriend. She's telling her that she'll get him back and get her revenge in the best way possible. >:)

Without her personal history of the ding, I assumed it was a way of telling a rival that she is not to be underestimated. She feels very passionately about a man and he was stolen from right in front of her.

I am a big fan of this song and Taylor wrote it to let Joe now that she didnt forget and she mentions some lines suggesting its about Camilla and Joe. One line says "Shes better known for the things she does on the Matress"
I think this means she gets guys by her looks and her gender. Camilla obvoisly doesnt like Taylor. Taylor also talks about Camilla as a childish person because of the line "stealing ppls toys on the playground wont make you many friends" She also says "Now do you still think you know what your doing?" This is saying: See?Want to mess with me lets see where that gets,ya. This is a song that sorta threatens Camilla and Joe that shes gonna get them back. She even states "I always get the last laugh!" Well This is what I think its about

This is pretty much about Camilla taking Joe away from Taylor.
In the line "She's not a saint and she's not what you think. She's an actress. She's better known for the thing that she does on the mattress." She's basically trying to tell Joe not to date her because she's a whore.

This song is about Camilla Belle stealing Joe Jonas away from Taylor.

The first line of this song goes: “The story starts when it was hot and it was summer.” Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas dated in the summer of 2008. Then Joe met 10,000 BC actress Camilla Belle on the set of the Jonas Bros “Lovebug” video, where Taylor was nowhere to be found. This song appears to be the Queen of Tween’s melodic stab at Belle for stealing her boyfriend - “She came along, got him alone, and let’s hear the applause/She took him faster than you could say sabotage.”

The line, “Come on, show me how much better you are,” provides further evidence that Taylor is addressing Belle in this song.

I think it is about Camilla stealingJoe Jonas from Taylor. It is kinda inappropriate, because it says stuff like, ''she's better known for the things she does on the the mattress''which means she's having sex! What's up with that, Taylor?!? I still LOVE your music so MUCH!!!!!!! Whenever I'm bored, me and my little brother dance around to your music! I know, LOL!!!!

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

this is one of my favorites :)

the song is about how taylor had joe jonas as a boyfriend, but then all of a sudden Camilla belle comes and steals him. taylor is showing all her anger in the song and even gives us a few hints on who the songs about, like, "but no amount of vintage dresses gives you dignity.", "she's better known for the things that she does on the mattress." and "she thinks that life is like a party and she's on the list".

i love this song because it's so honest and a little funny too :)

haha, that's what camilla gets for being her boyfriend stealer :D

I understand how everyone is like, "OH, it's about Joe and Camilla."
And I don't doubt it is, but I think there's more to the song then just trying to get back at someone who stole someone else's love awwy... I think that b/c Taylor is a song writer, and has always been, that it's hard for her to deal with her feelings any other way (not trying to slam her or anything) I think that with this song she was trying to get all her anger and frustration and all her lost feelings out, so that she can move on, and it clearly hadn't worked b/c all it was make Joe upset enough to want to get back at her through another song... I LOVE this song, no matter who it's about, it has a very catchy tune and I feel that a lot of teenage girls can realte to this song as well as all Taylor's other songs... they understand what it feels like to have someone that you care very deeply for stolen away by someone who you may not like...

When I first heard this I thought it sounded like the flip side to Misery Business by Paramore. Taylor and Hayley Williams are friends (Hayley bought Taylor some slippers with sheep on for christmas). I don't know who its about or whether Misery Business influenced it, but they're amazing to listen to one after the other

This is song is for Camilla Belle because she stole her Joe Jonas. You can know it because in the last part she says: " C'mon show me how much better you are. See you deserve some applause. Cause you're so much better" and Joe Jonas wrote a song for Camilla Belle that is in the Jonas Brother's last album (Lines, vines and traying times) whose called "Much Better". In that song Joe Jonas says: "Now I'm done with superstars, and all the tears on her guitar", and there's a Taylor's song calles "Teardrops on my guitar"(but it is not about Joe Jonas, is about a school friend called Drew, as she told in the Tru Hollywood Story's interviw for E!. The song about Joe Jonas is "Forever and allways" as she told at the Ellen Show). One day, at the June 22 concert in Tulsa, OK, Joe Jonas changed the lyrics and instead he said: "Now I'm done with COUNTRY STARS..." (you can find it on youtube)
Taylor in this song said she allways has the last word. LOVE TAYLOR AND THE JONAS BROTHERS, they are BOTH my biggest idols. I love them. :)
