Change Lyrics

And it's a sad picture, the final blow hits you
Somebody else gets what you wanted again
You know it's all the same, another time and place
Repeating history and you?re getting sick of it

But I believe in whatever you do
And I'll do...

I think this song is about Taylor and her band being rejected by a big time producer. The lyrics say that even if someone is bigger, or stronger, or smarter than you, that doesn't really mean that they'll always win. If you try really hard, believe in yourself, and do the right things, the good things will always come back to you. If someone says your dreams or goals are silly or that you can't reach them, if you try your hardest your good work will be rewarded and you will reach your goals. This song is meant for someone who is being bullied, or facing a big challenge, or has a problem that they think they can't do anything about, this song is to help them regain their confidence, reach their goals and accomplish their dreams.

I think this song is inspirational. This tells you that even if somebody's bigger than you, doesn't mean you can't beat them. You get stronger. You can beat any problem living in this song. I totally love this song, I listen to it when I'm facing a big challenge.

"Change" was inspired by being an underdog at small record label, but later became the theme for the 2008 U.S. Olympic team.

This song refers to any problem you've been facing, and are trying to overcome. You have hope that eventually, things will always change, and that you will overcome the problem.

Change is about when Taylor was about 12 or 13 or maybe even 14, and she was trying to get a record deal. When she finally got herself an agent, who himself was trying to start his own record company, she felt that she would never be noticed. She wanted things to change- and they did!

This song is basically about being pushed around all the time then one day just being sick and tired and taking a stand against the big bad wolf.
