Epiphany Lyrics

Keep your helmet, keep your life, son
Just a flesh wound, here's your rifle
Crawling up the beaches now
"Sir, I think he's bleeding out"
And some things you just can't speak about
With you, I serve
With you, I fall down, down
Watch you...

This song is about the hardships that medics in the military and who helped the COVID-19 pandemic went through. The lyric "only 20 minutes to sleep, but you dream of some epiphany" talks about how doctors don't get much time to sleep, but their dreams are still peaceful when their real life is not.

This song is about Taylor’s grandfather he was serving for the Army because in the first line of Epiphany the lyrics are “Keep your helmet, keep your life, Son” it explains that he was in the army because helmets are used in the Army.

To the best of my abilities, Epiphany is one of the songs written about something real on Folklore. It is about those people who work hard all day. They gave just a few moments of relief and hope that someone has an epiphany or comes up with a solution. This relates especially to health care workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. They have just a few minutes break and then they have to go back through trying to save lives.
