Say it in the street, that's a knock-out
But you say it in a Tweet, that's a cop-out

If you watch the video and listen to the lyrics it’s basically talking about how homophobics need to calm down about people being gay because there’s literally a lyric that says, “Cause shade never made anybody less gay”

It’s about how I’ve observed a lot of different people in our society who just put so much energy and effort into negativity, and it just made me feel like, “You need to just calm down, like you’re stressing yourself out. This seems like it’s more about you than what you’re going off about. Like, just calm down.”

I think this song is to write about the love is to writing this song but I obviously wrote it by myself into a piano and write about Ben, because he’s my boyfriend and so he’s so sweet and nice, and so I would write this song to my open relationship with Ben and if he can go out to dinner or see a football game, then he can scheduled it for Valentine’s Day. Then when Taylor swift wrote lover she gave it to me and write it for me and it’s helpful to work with someone I know, Ben is helping me with that song lover, it’s about who we are and be ourselves and be who we are, and obviously we’re great couple, and it’s Valentine’s Day. So that’s why I picked Ben as my boyfriend to go out with.
