Mrs All American Lyrics

I love that accent you have when you say hello
You relocated from New York a month ago
That minivan that you drive really gets me going
and if it feels like its right then it cant be wrong

No one understands the chemistry we have
and it...

It is about falling in love with a married American woman that relocated a month ago, hence the Mrs. from the title. They had a tiny little secret, which I assumed, is their relationship.

It’s totally about an American married mom. Mrs All American - she’s married because of the Mrs and American because of the American and “relocated from New York”. And she’s a mom because of “that minivan that you drive”. Minivans are known for being driven by soccer moms.

The song is about a guy being with a girl. But there’s a twist. She is married and she might have kids according to the line “that minivan that you drive really gets me going”.

I too think it's about an affair because of 'Mrs.' being a married person and how inconvenient a minivan would be otherwise, but also because "[...] My lips are sealed, there's nobody that I would tell
Your secrets mine, [...]", there isn't really a point of mentioning a secret unless the secret is their relationship

It's obviously about a guy who is into American girls, not that she is married and it's an affair. But the fact that she is the one the guy wants to marry some day, and it doesn't matter if they drive a minivan, doesn't mean they're married. Just think.

I don't think it is an affair with an older woman. I think MRS is referring to her being the one the 'singer' wants to marry some day. Just because she drives a mini van doesn't mean she is old guys, it could be some crap car her parents needed to get rid of.

It sounds like an affair with an older, married woman. Hence the "Mrs" and "reference to driving a minivan".
