Don't Stop Lyrics

You're like perfection, some kind of holiday
You got me thinking that we could run away
You want I'll take you there,
You tell me when and where,
Oh oh oh oh

But then I asked for your number,
Said you don't have a phone
It's getting late...

I'll go line by line on this one.

First, Luke sings "You're like perfection. Some kind of holiday. You got me thinking that we could run away. You want I'll take you there, you tell me when and where." He's obviously saying that this girl is perfect and that she is like a break from all of the other fake girls in the world. She has him thinking that they could go away and be themselves for a while and that if she wants to go to with him, he will take her she just has to tell him when and where to meet her.

Next, comes the lines "But, then I, asked for your number, said you don't have a phone. It's getting late now, I gotta let you know that everybody wants to take you home tonight. But, I gotta find a why to make you mine."
The first line is obvious, he asked for her number and she said she didn't have a phone. The next line states that they are probably at a party and he needs to tell her that every guy wants to take her home for a quickie, but, he wants to actually date her and take it slow.

Then, comes the chorus. "Don't stop doing what you're doing. Everytime you move to the beat it gets harder for me and you know it."
He is stating that she should not stop being she is and not change. Everytime she moves to the beat, she makes it harder for him to approach her and she knows it.

Then, comes the second part. "Don't stop cause you know that I like it. Everytime you walk in a room, you got all eyes on you and you know it."
Once again, he is telling her to not to change. He is also telling her that when she walks in a room everyone turns to look at her and she knows it. He is saying she has great self confidence and she should not let people change it.

Now, for the second verse. "You're coming close, swear I can taste it. You got me tongue tied, I can't escape it. I'm loving what you got, but, then you push me off."
Here he is saying that she is getting to know him better and he knows it. When ever she speaks to him she's so amazing he can't find the words to say. When ever he tries to get close to her she just pushes him off because she thinks of him as just a friend. Then we repeat the chorus.

Finally, we get to the bridge. "Everyday it's the same all the games that you play. Back and forth, round and round, kinda like it this way."
He is saying that everyday shes playing games that make him jealous and it's the same everyday. The last line states that the games make him fall even more in love.

    Then, you just repeat.

When it says “when u move to the beat it gets harder for me” it means that when the girl is dancing it makes them hard. Obviously.

It’s about a guy that sees a girl and she is perfect. She is cool and awesome. But, she is so awesome that everyone wants her. And the guy wants her. I do not think that the part “It gets harder for me” is about a boner. I think the guy is saying that it gets more difficult to resist liking the girl. But I wouldn’t put it past them.

It's more or less about 2 people teasing each other, the guy eventually has enough of the teasing and wants to take the next step, but everwhere they go the males are drooling over her and it makes him jealous. "Everytime you move to the beat, it gets harder for me" that's genuinely saying he has a boner over the girl, she knows it but wants to continue the teasing.
