i agree that the song is about Jimmy's aka The Rev's enlarged heart and sickness and how much the pain hurt then he died and that his family,friends and even us fans have to move on down the (highway with out him) in other words he is saying that his time here is done he finished what he was born on this earth to do and when he finished his talented songs, its time that he says goodbye and for all of us that we can move on with out him with us in are lives.
