Song Released: 2013
Shepherd of Fire Lyrics
So my intentions are known
See I have pity in watching you suffer
I know the feeling of being damned alone
I've got a story book of my own
Don't you see I am your pride
Agent of will, bearer of...

I believe it's for the listener to decide but a7x song have always inspired hope in me. Plus in the song the lead singer says you know what is right. And for those of you with bit smaller mind Jesus didn't damn satan god did because satan wished to exalted above he who is most high.

I love the ignorant posters that take their shot at Christ Jesus. "Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is LORD". This song takes on any meaning that you put to it. It is either evil or good depending on the individual that is listening. That is the beauty of it. You morons that think satan is a conquerer are sorely misled. But that is Lucifer's way, lie, cheat and steal. Blame it all on God. LOL. Personally, i think it's kind of funny how you simple-minded idiots can't see the forest for through the trees. Jesus is King and has already defeated Lucifer.
Even you freaks deserve forgiveness and compassion that only Christ offers. -

Fucking WOW! Every post is about God v Satan and all that stuff! Does anyone ever think for themselves anymore??? Example "We can promise you paradise" and "Immerse yourself into the kingdom of redemption". That to me as well as the song seems like some screwed in the head, use the bible his way, cult leader!! The reason I think this is all the chorus is "I am" except "Agent of Wealth"!
the above comment I feel is the closest anyone commenting on here has gotten to the real meaning of the lyrics. my other opinion is that is has to do with corrupt government and the lies of politicians -

You idiots don't realize your worthless religion is produced fiction of our Fathers followers the Illuminati. Thanks for the $$$ every Sunday you brain dead sheep. Soon we will lead you to your slaughter. Hail Satan!

This song from a glance looks like its about Satan, but It has to be about jesus, and the empty promises of religon. "Fire" would make you lean towards Satan but I think The whole Shepard of Fire thing-- the one thing that isnt easily interpreted as jesus-- is about religion-driven violence and warfare; the dark side of religon [within the light side of jesus]

This song is most definitely about satan. He even lets you know that he is your basest failings of man, (i.e. guilt and pride). He knows what it is to be damned alone. You will be damned alone, just follow him and he will make sure of it. He can promise you Paradise, but he can't deliver. It's an empty promise. Just like the Serpent in Eden, he mixes just enough truth with the lies to make them believable.

The song I think it's about Jesus not Satan he led the Israelites out of Egypt a fire by night hence the lyric shepherd of fire. Christians should be careful not to judge too quickly. Jesus is the only one that willing took upon himself the shame, guilt, lust, and all others sins that the lyrics state when he went to the cross. He is the only one that accepts you as you are and can give you paradise and you don't have to do anything but believe he did all those things for you and you are safe. So for me I would believe that the writer is speaking as Jesus. Very well written. I like that it makes you think.

this song is about satan and how he knows how it feels to be damned and left by God,(non christians) also that u can worship him and ''promise you paradise'' there no need to serve on your knees. just sell your soul and join his army against God.
