And when he screws up/fight, she always forgives him because she remembers how much she loves him. And instead of talking about it (making it worse) she just wants to stare at him, to remind her of the reasons why she loves him, because talking can cause more problems. And when she says she wants to cry in front of him, she wants him to see how much he's hurt her, without saying anything, to change him. She wants him to feel what she feels for him. She feels like they're falling out of love and she doesn't want to fall to pieces, because she's nothing without him. She wants to know what's going on in his head, and she wants to feel closer to him, like how she used to, when she first fell in love with him.

I believe this song is about hiding the problems in a relationship. She's having a tough time, but when things are bad she wants to forget about them because she loves him. She'd rather pretend everything was alright and forget about talking about it, because she simply wants to remind herself of why she was with him in the first place.
