Wild in the Streets Lyrics

Joey comes from a sacred part of town
Where sometimes you talk so tough
That your feet don't touch the ground
And the sidewalk soldiers sing the midnite blues
While the old men recite their story lines
About when I was young like you

This song seems to be about Jon reminiscing about his high school days in Jersey and how much fun we had. It also talks about how he and his friends all stuck up for each other, and how they were all close friends ("In here we got this code of honor, no one's going down.").
