   the anonymous comment about the 'loss of a woman' is particularly interesting: I read on http://www.geocities.com/totallycreed/meanings.htm that Scott (the song's writer) and his wife broke up essentially, and now he can spend more time with the band.... It would appear that he has sacrificed his relationship with his wife in order to better the world with his music... Although that seems INCREDIBLY foolish.

   I think that my sacrifice does not really mean something he does.
   If I may follow an above mentioned interpretation, he reunites with god. According to Christian believe the sacrifice of Christ on the cross was necessary to make this possible.
   
   Thus it could be a way of honouring Christ calling him "my sacrifice".

   I think this song represents finding yourself. Sometimes in life, we lose are true meaning and scott has found his inner child

   Try watching the music video guys. It's dedicated to the events of September 11th which have made him turn to God once again, possibly because he has lost a friend.

   Yeah, I pretty much believe with the message on top. Basically talking to god and telling him without him he's lost. If you have seen the video he's on top of a hill looking above of him and talking.

   I believe this song is about repenting in God and regaining or catching up on your Salvation.

   talking(praying) to God
   "It's been awhile where should we begin, fells like forever"-
   When The lead singer of Creed was a young child his parents force him to go to church, when he was a teenager he cut himself off from the fam. and stoped attending church. Now he is a Christian again and is Talking to God
   "cuase when you are with me i'm free, im careless i believe, above all the others we'll fly, this brings tears to my eyes, my sacrifice"-
   God is great and when you are with him or we, we're above all others. Its all most enouhg to bring tears to your eyes.
