   Both want to be with each other so badly but with the circumstance that they are in, it's very difficult to be in an actual relationship. Both have different views on love and what a relationship should actually be and that results in both feeling like its all coming to an end and it's time to go their separate ways. One way or another, something is there but drake making his claim to wanting something different to make himself happy.

   He talks about how you always have the one girl that you can't leave but you guys arent good for one another because things change and you distance from one another, hence somethings been missing, so you want to leave her but she loves you back and its diffucult for you as well because you guys don't want to see each other with someone else.

   I feel as this song is petraying that todays generation tells us true love is not real and as a result .... to show real love is the wrong thing to do.... However drake wants to show real love but doesnt because todays generation tells him its wrong!
