This song is about her falling in love with a drug addict, who kept telling her Everytime, that it would be the last time he'd do it, but kept repeatedly breaking that promise.

Its about an ex-boyfriend, who is apparently travie mccoy, who had a drug addiction. And getting his next hit was more important than her. She says "I'm not sticking around to watch you go down" so she's leaving him.
In an interview when the album got released she said that its her version of "you oughta know"
