The Sun Will Rise Lyrics

I can see the weight there in your eyes
I can feel the thorn in your side
Your knuckles are bruised from a losing fight
One way down a dead end street
Broken glass underneath your feet
You think the day won't break the sunless night

When I used to be bullied and harassed at work, this song, the sun will rise came out at that time and gave me comfort and hope.

Sometimes in life we feel as if we're terrible and never succeed and that no one can relate. This song is not only saying 'The sun will rise', everything will get better in the end, but it also says, "I can see the weight... I can feel the thorn...", which is telling you that even when it feels like you're all alone, someone is out there, watching you, and deep down caring about you.
