One Direction: Little Things Meaning
Song Released: 2012
Little Things Lyrics
Like it's made just for me
But bear this in mind
It was meant to be
And I'm joining up the dots
With the freckles on your cheeks
And it all makes sense to me...
I know you've never loved
The crinkles by your...

I think that this song is beautiful. It's telling you that society's view of you does not matter. "The dimples in your back, at the bottom of you spine..." Stands out to me because only someone who has been intimate wit you knows that. They're telling you your imperfections are what makes you perfect and maybe one day you will see that. But until then, they will love you enough for the both of you, maybe even more.

"Little Things isn't about anyone in particular, it's about all girls. You're all beautiful and you need to hear it more often." - Zayn Malik.
Ed Sheeran wrote it with a friend and he gave it to One Direction to sing.

Ed Sheeran, the writer of this song (of whom if you do not already know, see immediately!), intended for it to be a song to make all girls feel beautiful. Everything we girls think of a flaw, he thinks as perfect.

I'm so late,
In my interpretation in this music
As the narrator said that "I know you've never loved the crinkles by your eyes when you smile
You've never loved your stomach or your thighs
The dimples in your back at the bottom of your spine
But I'll love them endlessly" this means that the person is insecured, by this stanza tells that the narrator says that it isn't about face or body that is being judged who you love. It's about the attitude of the person.
Another stanza noted that "And all those conversations are the secrets that I keep, though it makes no sense to me" This noted to narrator that all of those secrets and promises that person kept, that person doesn't mind because all the narrator saw is the ability of the person who loves him/her has courage of someone to stand up and not keep it as a secret, even though he/she is not perfect.
And here at 7th stanza of the song the narrator said that "You never love yourself half as much as I love you you'll never treat yourself right darling but I want you to
If I let you know, I'm here for you
Maybe you'll love yourself like I love you oh" Narrator speaks that, the person who is in love with him/her does not love who he/she is. The narrators tells that the person who is willing to love him/her doesn't end the same well ( If I let you know, I'm here for you maybe you'll love yourself like I love you oh ) this tells that the person is in love with him/her, but since the person is insecure and has no ability to stand up, he/she remains for him/herself. As narrator said ( Maybe you'll love yourself like I love you ) A person who is willing to love him/her doesn't end the same well.

Uhhmm... This song seems to be written for all those who are insecure of themselves...and no one in particular...
Am personally not a Larry fan in a romantic way but I couldn't help but notice one line sung by Louis which mentions about "talking in your sleep" and...guess what? Harry has a condition of talking in his sleep... That felt bit strange but again, that could be about any other girl too so...

Little Things has saved my life. I’ve been in a rough place. I’ve been suicidal and I’ve self harmed because of the way I was. I can’t tell you how much this has impacted me. I relate to every single lyric in this song. It’s amazing how one song can change your life. I can’t even describe what I’ve been through. I’ve been bullied, physically and emotionally. I hated everything, sometimes I still do. I was called fat and hideous, which led me down an anorexic path. I cry every time I hear this because of how much this song really means to me. The lyrics I relate to most are “I know you’ve never loved the sound of your voice on tape, you never want to know how much you weigh, you still have to squeeze into your jeans, but you’re perfect to me,” and “you’ve never loved your stomach or your thighs.” I’m so grateful for these boys, even though they’ve broken up, I’m still so grateful for them all.
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

Am I the only one that hears this and thinks of a girl with an eating disorder and one of them being in love with her or is that just me?.

This is a song in which Harry describes all Louis' little things. And he sings "I am in love with Lou" and "and all Lou little things". Those two are obviously in love. #LarryStylinson

This is a beautiful song where a guy tells his girl how beautiful she is to him. She has a few flaws like everyone around, but he finds these amazing and gorgeous.
He means to say that he is in love with her, and all those tiny flaws that she might hate about herself.
And remember, you are imperfectly perfect with perfect imperfections.
Thanks for reading.

This song is not about a particular girl it is about all the girls. The girls thought that the flaws are their imperfections but in this song it has been so beautifully explained to us that they are not our imperfections. The flaws are the little little things that makes us unique, beautiful nd elegent among all of us.And lastly the song tells that there will be always someone in each of our lives who will love us dearly nd truly no matter if u have flaws also.

A very interesting song. My favorite one <3. It shows that no matter what you are or what your flaws are. There's always someone who will appreciate those and will love you sincerely. *THUMBS UP*

At first I thought this song was about like zayn's perspective to liam but then I realized that not every song is about ziam or larry but I think this song is about letting girls know that they are perfect to the people that love them and that they don't know why there insecure. The only part that I think is ziam is the part where they sing, "it's you" to eachother

That someone loves you no matter what little imperfections you have. That people will overlook these things and you shouldn't worry.

This song literally sounds like they're describing Louis to a T.
maybe this song is about not just one girl, but all girls. it details all little imperfections that a guy notices and girl don't want them to notice. It describes how guys really see girls and how there is always a guy out there who will love you and all your little imperfections.

Personally, I think this song is about Larry. I think Harry got Ed to write for him as a message to Louis.
