   This song is about falling in love, and losing that person you love. Let's go more in depth: The first bit goes: Once in a lifetime,It's just right, We make no mistakes,Not even a landslide, or riptide, could take it all away". The singer describes the perfect love experience, that only comes once in your life. Once in a lifetime, a love occurs in which no mistakes are made and landslides and ripstides have no effect on whatsoever. The singer is obviosly very distressed, and the next bit will speak from the point of view that they've just ended their relationship."Somehow
   it feels like nothing has changed, Right now,
   my heart is beating the same, out loud, someone's calling my name, It sounds like you". The singer is in a very strange place and is feeling almost paralyzed, frozen, immobilized and powerless, as they're heart continues to beat the same rhythym.    Its about the end of a relationship ....and realising that the love that you felt was real for that person .... Acceptance that its over but realising that what really matters is the experience of your time together and the connection you had and knowing that it will stay with you forever x

   I think it's about the flow of the unconscious life beneath the surface of our limited consciousness...it's about the randomness of life and events, it's about the non agency of individuals to really direct their own lives, it's about the realisation of this which comes maybe once when we have an awakening...I love it. It says you may as well surrender to life and let it take you where it will. Acceptance, surrender, love life!

   I think that this song is simply about suicide.. tbh. bc louis' part "Once in a lifetime
   It's just right
   And we are always safe" and then nialls part "Not even the bad guys, in the dark night could take it all away." bc some directioners committed suicide, and one direction wants their fans to know that they are by theirs fans' side, and that they are there for them. If you listen to it, it will make more sense, and look up the lyrics. Its quite sad just like moments that was originally by Ed Sheeran, but he gave it over to One Direction for their album. Moments is about a boys girlfriend who is dying, and the boy cant handle living without her so he commits suicide. Cleary zayns part is when the boy commits suicide "[Zayn]

   This song from high school musical means about how they should live life as they wont get it a second time.To have the opportunity of life and benefit from it.Gabriella then says "and never give it back"she means dont ever miss the opportunity.How they should enjoy every moment.
