   I think this song means means she's talking about her past and how it's affected her now she's an adult it's quite deep she's also meaning that she's only opened up to that one person and she's trying to be okay when she's far from it

   I think this is about her life being hell but someone stops her from committing suicide, and she self harms and maybe gets tattoos to cover them up? ("Underneath the ink of my tattoo I tried to hide my scars from you"). And when she says she's not dead just floating, it's like she's not dead, but considering death. You're my crack of sunlight is like 'you're my only hope'

   This song, I feel, is about how she or anyone is going through a hard time, sorta depression. "Hide my scars from you." Is hinting almost like she self harms and is hiding them. This is like describing depression. How you are not dead, but you feel like it, or "floating" on the idea.
