    Joe Don Rooney of Rascal Flatts is from Kansas so I think this is about his grandmother. Married a soldier, young love, then when he died she started having the effects of alzheimer's. She can't remember much of anything, but she remembers everything about her and her husband and their lives together. That's my guess
