You’re on the edge of giving up
You know I feel it too
You won't be alone because
I’m with you
Bring the fire, bring the smoke, bring the rain
We will bend but we will never break

If we believe we can’t lose
Even mountains will...

What this is saying is that YOU should never give up on what you want to do, you have to keep on fighting to do, and keep what you love.
No matter what happens, you keep just keep going

I think this song means that with God you are unstoppable. With God no one can break you down. It talks about our faith which is our faith in God and in each other. If we live or die we will we will always be with Jesus and never doubt him. No matter what life throws at us our relationship with God will never break. In the second verse it sounds like someone is doubting God and has stopped believing but God brings them back. it might also have to do with never giving up on life and there will always be someone to make you whole and will never give up on you.
