Song Released: 2013
Sick of It Lyrics
If you're sick
If you're sick
If you're sick of it
If you're sick
If you're sick
If you're sick of it!
When everything you do
Don't seem to matter.
You try but it's not use
Your world is getting blacker....
-
I wouldn't say it's about an abusive relationship, but "Are you over it, bored to death, have you had enough regret" seems to mean that it's a relationship that is boring, or doesn't mean anything anymore.
The song means that it's tough to end a relationship, but if there's no love in it any more, you really should end it just the same. -
It's about a guy who is done with his life.
Sorry to hear about your story. Hoping you will find real people who will treat you with respect.
Hoping you will turn away from evil and live your life with goodness. Turn to the real creator of this earth. God Almighty.
Reading interpretations lately but answered today -
For me this song is about someone who was abused or put down and put through depression because of who they are, which I can relate to.
Everybody always stayed away from me because my birthparents were druggies and alcoholics and everyone thought that would be me so they treat me like sh*t and put me through hell even my adoptive family litterally disowned me and I have decided that I'M sick of it.
I am the perfect example of the two words on the man and girls heads, because I have been beat by my peers and abused verbally and I have major deppression so this song really speaks to me, even though I'm a satanist I still love skillet because their songs litterally explain my life. -
My meaning for this song is that when you are in a relationship someone that you really loved and they don't want you no more. But they but you through tough feelings
like for when my girlfriend broke up with me she but she put me through Unloveliness, Heartless, worthless, useless and depression. Like in the official video when the word depression is on top the person forehead thats how i felt, i'm sick of it, and found a different person now. I moved on with my life. -
This song is about deliverance. It's about getting to a place where you realize something has to change ("sick of it") and you surrender ("raise your hands")and give it over ("have you had enough of it") to God. Could be depression, abuse, sin etc. Gotta get rid of t!
-
I think it's about if you just can't take anymore pain than you have try try to get rid of or avoid it the best you can until it's finally gone.
-
It is about getting rid of sin.
-
i think its about standing up to something thats wrong. ex: bullying, abuse, etc. "Raise you hands, if you're sick of it" its kind of obvious
