   Its really simple. The song is about someone the Artist knows is constantly lying to them, always coming up with false truths, making excuses, and the writer is done swallowing his pride. Obviously the writer continually accepts the lies he/she's being told so they could keep the person in their life, but they're done listening to their lies.

   This song is about the struggles between the band members. As you may know, Aaron Lewis left and started doing songs by himself like "country boy". He decided to get the band back together. The was turmoil between them. The drummer left in may while this song was made. I know this because he told a local radio station this information. As ppl were saying earlier; no taste for the crow you feed me meaning swallow your pride. Band problems is what the song is wrote about

   I believe this is a conversation with himself in his head. The song starts with "Do you feel like your falling? You've taken this step. In front of you is further from the truth and you fall apart in front of me again. Denial isn't the way to forgiveness"
   That verse right there says to me he is fighting and addiction. I used to have a problem with alcohol and I know what it is like to have this internal struggle with yourself. The song is about lying to yourself about a problem. Denial of a serious addiction leads to further abuse but yet when you look into the mirror and tell yourself that you are OK it is a LONG way from the truth and you know it but still you abuse. If you have ever experienced addiction you won't need me to explain the rest of the song.

   ok first of all the meaning crow you feed me is a phrase when someone says eat crow it actually means to swallow your pride and say you were wrong it has nothing to do with death its a figure of speech toe to toe he is probably arguing with someone a family member significant other about something and he is saying not again no taste for the crow you feed me I think that means he is not going to eat crow for you any more being in denial won't help it is not a substitute for forgiveness the rest of it is kinda tricky for me I am sure someone has a better example but the crow thing has nothing to do with death its a figure of speech

   right from wrong "toe to toe again" meaning
   a mind struggle with himself "no taste for the crow you feed me" crow is black which is the color of death, a swarm of crows= "black death" "no taste for the death you feed me" drugs,alcohol,gambleing, ect. "Denial isn't the way to forgiveness" meaning denaing you have a problem won't help. "not a matter of if i care" translation= "i don't care". "what an intricate web your weaving" meaning how you get yourself in these situations. "while the clock fails to sleep" means clock his mind won't stop until he does whatever he does again and again. "so here we are back where it began" back where it began= bar,casino,drug dealer. "you always swore i was wrong" i can understand how people got this wrong wife, girlfriend but you have to think out side the box for this, like how i said the voice that tells you right from wrong the good voice swears he made the wrong choice by going to the bad voice typical protagonist and antagonist here. "so you try not to follow" not to go with what others are doing. i hope this explains the song and the amazing thing is i'm only 12 and i figured out this song.
