P.L.U.C.K. Lyrics

Elimination, Elimination, Elimination

Die,
Why,
Walk down, Walk down

Well a whole race, genocide,
Taken away all of our pride,
A whole race, genocide,
Taken away, watch them all fall down.

Revolution, the only solution,
The armed...

On the album booklet, before the track number and the title of the song, there is a dedication which reads:

System of a Down would like to dedicate this song to the memory of the 1.5 million victims of the Armenian Genocide, perpetrated by the Turkish
    Government in 1915.

this song is about the Armenian Genocide....During World War 1 the Turks killed about 1.5 million Armenians....they are trying to get people to recognize that there was a genocide because many people don't know about it and the turks deny it to this day....they are talking about how ashaming it is that the armenians were almost totally wiped out from the face of this earth and nobody even cares or knows or recognizes it.

This song is about the Armenian Genocide in 1915
(http://www.cilicia.com/armo10.html for more info). P.L.U.C.K. stands for Politically Lying Unholy Cowardly Killers, meaning the Turkish Army.

I doubt they hate Turkish people, it's the Turkish administration refusing to admit to their crimes that they hate. Don;t compare genocides, there are many throughout history and they're all different.

The song is about the Armenian Genocide, yes. But the other Genocides also that happened before it in 1896 I think and 1907. The Turkish Government is denying this fact. The song also states "Revolution, the only solution". There was a huge uprising in those times. It says that Armenia will be free only by a Revolution. Yes, the title talks about the Young Turks and the army. Until today, the Armenians are fighting for the cause and this song is saying that "A Genocide happened. Recognize it."

Oh by the way yeah they all have armenian heritage in them not turks...They don't like turks because they took the most part in the genocide. Figured I'd throw that in there as well

This song is flat out one of the best on their self titled album.

If I may quote one line of the song
"we've taken all your shit now its time, for restitution!"
saying that the armenian genocide was a terrible loss for their people, and system of a down wants that to be recognized...Everyone above^^^ has been hitting the nail on the head...Good job guys

This is about the armenian genocide. They are trying to get people to realize that the jews arent the only people who went through a genocide. The turks killed millions of armenians and greeks and they try to cover it up to this day which is why no one knows about it. Educate yourself and go read about it.

They actually are from an armenian background...The turks made a genocide and killed millions of armenians during world war i....The thing is that not many people even know about it because they tried covering it all up...I think soad is trying to get people to recognize what happened not only to all the jews but that armenians had to go through the same thing.

This song is about genocide, in an interveiw serj says "that me, Shavo, and John doesn't even know our own grandfathers ages, because of the genocide that hitler made" they also state that this song is about Hitler's dictatorship and how many countries can't function with that type of government.
