I think it's about a very egotistic person who thinks the world of themselves, and considers them self a 'hero'. I see it as that everyone falls under their spell- they all think that they are the king and worship him. But the song is about someone (let's just say it's Alex) see's right through his tricks and despises him. 'you're not a hero- you're a liar'
