Asking Alexandria: Someone, Somewhere Meaning
Song Released: 2011
Someone, Somewhere Lyrics
I know I'm not alone
Because I know there's someone somewhere
Praying that I make it home
So here's one from the heart
My life right from the start
I need a home sweet home
To call my own
It was you
That told...

1TOP RATED
#1 top rated interpretation:I see it this way:
The first verse that starts with "It was you, that told me I could do this" Is about his grandpa who first got him [Danny] to Start singing. The second verse is about his mother and how he's sorry that they dont really stay in touch that that he wishes he was a better kid for her to take care of. The third verse is a salute of sorts to all the others in the band. -
Danny left his parents when he was an adult and he is sorry for letting them down when the parents only worry
-
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
I think the first verse is about his grandad, who got him to start singing, and the next is about his parents, and last his best friend Ben c:
-
The meaning is that the song is saying no one is alone. That there is someone somewhere for them.
-
The first two verses are written for Danny's parents & the last verse is for Ben.
(Source Myca Gardner, Danny's girlfriend's, tumblr.) -
I see it as him telling people around him that he is thankful and knows that even though he is on a downfall of alcohol and drugs he appreciates them looking out for him. The first verse is probally about a relationship with a girl of some sort. Second verse is probally parents and relatives, saying he should've been a better kid and he is sorry for letting them down. The third is most probally Ben Bruce (Guitarist and the first to be in the band with Danny Worsnop, lead vocalist, also his best friend) and his other band mates.
