"So what if I never hold you or kiss you lips again" What if he doesn't? He doesn't know if he'll be able to manage, he doesn't know what he'd do without her, because he loves her and she means the world to him.
"Seize the day or die regretting the time you lost" He's not going to spend the rest of his life wallowing in his heart break. He's going to live for the day and seize the opportunites that may arise.

Don't 'die regretting the time you lost', which means don't mope around dwelling on bad past experiences, get out there and live. This song is wonderful, and I love it.

Don't leave in an argument because you or your other may not come back I say this all the time don't leave someone mad or go to bed mad at someone because you don't know what could happen the next day

I think it's a sad song to express the feeling of lonelyness being in prison without your wife (just like the video shows).

m. shadows said himself that the song is about thinking twice before doing something but avenged sevenfold is my favourite band ever so like always I watched the video over and over again and wrote down the lyrics and what I got out of it is that you have to live life to the fullest and don't think about doing stupid crap cuz while your doing it and/or regretting it you could be losing everything and everyone you love but maybe its both. its possible that the song has a double meaning. whatever it means it's the best song i've ever heard.

a guy is getting older and is deeply in love with his gf/wife. he knows he's going to die or is dying so its pretty much about him reflecting on his life.

he is telling his girl that he loves her and wants to spend however much time he has left with her but realizes that he isnt immortal and when the time comes he doesnt want to leave her.

people keep on producing and dying so there are always new people walking on the earth to replace the dying ones and the dying ones aren't needed anymore. he's dying and asks if she will still be with him in the afterlife, but he isn't sure if there even is an afterlife.

every day, hour, minute, and second you are getting closer and closer to death and you should cherish every moment you have with the people you love because without them, your life would be empty and cold so instead of fighting with people and mourning over bad experiences you should just look at the bright side and move forward because the more you dwell on those bad experiences, the more time you waste. -
In my opinion, this song tells us to grab any chance that comes, or you'll regret of losing it.

I think that the music video says it all....that you should live each day like it's your last and cherish the people close to you and make sure they know it. Think responsibly for all of your actions, because what you do affects not only you, but others too. He is saying in this song that his actions have cost him time forever lost that he can't make up with the person he loves. He is also saying that she was everything to him and without her he is completely empty because no one else means to him what she did all they do is disappoint him and let him down. I think that what he is tryin to say is that he is afraid that since he has lost her in this life and has to finish this life alone that he won't be able to find her in his afterlife so that they can spend eternity together. This song is amazing I get chills every time I see the video because of how real it is. I have an 11 year old son and out of all their songs he likes so much, this one is his favorite because of what it means. This def makes me a proud mother because of who he is : ) -
Basically what he's saying is watch what you do and say because the person you love the most could be taken away at any time. If you say I hate you that could be the last thing you say to that person. It also means that you need to treat people the way you want to be treated. Really I didn't need to tell you all this because the video pretty much explains it.

obviously they're saying quit moping from your mistakes, which is most likely about a break up or like their video, someone's away from their girlfriend because he didn't bring his life to its full potential.
"I see my vision burn, i feel my memory's fade with time, but i'm too young to worry." sounds like he's just rotting, because he's been doing nothing with life, and he's aging faster than he should be. -
This song is about a guy going to jail for robbery and loosing his girlfriend and life. "seize the day or die regreting the time you lost" means dont do anything stupid to ruin your life. "empty and cold without you hear, to many to people to ache over" is revering to being lonely in prison. "I see my visions burn" means he has ruined all his life dreams by going to jail.
