Billie Eilish - Male Fantasy Meaning

Song Released: 2021
Male Fantasy Lyrics
Distract myself with pornography
I hate the way she looks at me
I can't stand the dialogue, she would never be
That satisfied, it's a male fantasy
I'm going back to therapy
'Cause I loved you then and I love...
-
I think male fantasy is about a girl who wants to changes herself for validation ,and feels a insecurity about alot of things . who does bad things to forget about things and it creates a consequence . and how shes loves a specific boy and cannot let go , and how she wants to get over him but fails everyone , she even trys to convince herself she hates him , and how she wonders if she will continue to feel a certain way . and eventually admits she will "never" get over him . - L<33

It’s about how porn makes the world a bad place and it’s the cause for rape n sexual violence and like stuff like that
-
I think Male Fantasy is about her loving a man that might’ve broken up with her but she still loves him. But the lyrics “If I’m getting over you, or just pretending to, be alright convince myself I hate you” suggest that she might still be trying to get over him but can’t. That’s just my interpretation. Billie, if ur reading this, I love you, ur amazing, and I wish I could grow up to be as brilliant as u (I’m only 12)!
