I think my future by billie eilish is about her walking away from a relationship to build her future and focus on herself. In the beginning the beat is very slow and blues which represent he relationship before and when the beat comes in, its representing her growing as a human being and getting to know herself.
"I know better than to drive you home, cause youd invite me in and id be yours again"
--- this means that if she still has ties to him she knows that one small thing can bring all the feelings back.
"I know supposedly im lonely know, know im supposed to be unhappy without someone but arent I someone"
--- in this part she is saying that it is expected of her to be upset and sad after the breakup because she supposedly has nobody but shes also somebody so she should get to know herself and build up her amazing future because she is in love with not any boy, but her future and what she will become.
