   i think tha song is about a man who loves a gurl.He was coming to her house to find her cheatin on him.Also i think tha song is about him giving her all his love but she doesnt appreciate it. :):(:)

   Urhm, ALL of Bruno Mars' lyrics are reeeally straightforward. It needs no explanation. It is a good song, except for this lyric I was just a little bit puzzled when i first heard it: "Had your eyes wide open - Why were they open?"
   That's just a really stupid lyric. It sounds like he couldn't come up with a better line than to question some girl's eyelids.

   This is a horrible song..in my opinion. Without reading into it too much, it's just a song about unrequited love...he would do all these things for her eventhough she doesnt feel the same. After reading other posts, I can understand now why people may think it's about his cocaine addiction. He would do anything to get a fix..but cocaine doesnt love you back..it just destroys your life. It doesnt seem like a song that would have a deeper meaning but when you think about it..it makes sense

   It's about him devoting everything, even his life to this one girl, even if she doesn't do the same.His feelings for her overcome his reasoning, about never getting loved back, but he doesn't care. This is my interpretation and I think: devotion.

   I interpret this song to be about his cocaine addiction, it's a little dramatic to be about a girl, he's saying he would do anything to get it but all it does is lead him to trouble( jail) " tell the devil I said ' hey' when you get back to where you're from" is a little harsh to say to someone who just doesn't love you...' woman' is just a term used instead of actually saying cocaine(like lady Caine) and the piano being dragged is like the burden he carries on his back. It follows him everywhere and fills up you're mind when you're addicted till it's the only thing you think about and can't ignore. besides, this song is way more interesting if it is about his addiction, rather than being overdramatic about a girl :)

    i think that it's about a guy who loves this girl and would do anything for her but she wouldnt do the same, she was just playing him and the whole piano thing was just to be romantic and then he see's her with another man so that breaks his heart and so he purposely sits in front of the train and waits for it to come and kill him (you'll see the train part in the music video) and with the gang part i have no idea whats that about....SADDEST MUSIC VIDEO EVER!!! :'(

    I think it is about Jesus, the piano=cross, girl=judas, the line: "black, black, black and blue, beat me till I'm numb, tell the devil I said hey when you get back to where your from." the whole chorus.
