I believe this song is basically about a girl named Amy who struggles to enjoy life. She looks at a friend/a person she believes has a perfect life and wishes she could have that much enjoyment in life. In the end of the song, she closes her eyes and prays. Soon enough she enjoys life "I see her laughing at the rain that hits her face"
