   i think katy was saying she was in the dark about God. she used to be a christian and her parents where pastors, and i think she got out of that and gave her soul up for the fame. but now shes wide awake about knowing exactly what God is like.

   I think Wide Awake is about her Falling for this guy & then falling out of love with him . Bc he's not who she thought he was. He hurt her. & she's moving on with her life & turning to God for love & support & to lead her in the right direction.

   I think this song is about a love she had. She talks about falling from cloud 9 and crashing from the high, those are the kind of feelings you get when youre falling out of love with someone. He wasn't the right guy for her and she sees it so clearly now shes "wide awake". Ps the lyrics above are wrong...

   katy perry joined the illuminati for fame and fortune. She was in the dark before, because she didn't know all that it entailed. Now that she had gotten what she wanted she realized that it wasn't all the exciting. Her soul was more valuable than that, and now she's falling from cloud 9. She wishes she knew then what she knew now, because she wouldn't dive it. Countless others have said the same.

   Most of us are walking through life on auto-pilot......making mistakes and not always learning from them......if we took ownership of our own karma...we would evolve to not make the same mistake twice.....And elevate our self awarness and no longer be a victim of circumstance....so if we WOKE UP.....WE WOULD NOT FALL SO FAR FROM THE HEAVEN ON EARTH THAT IS RIGHTFULLY OURS!! KATY PERRY is saying shes WIDE AWAKE and no longer a victim of circumstance.....she is owning her own life and not asking others to make LIFE FULLFILLING FOR HER.....when we do that we make life full of meaning with our own expectations...instead of blaming others for what we expect them to do....im assuming her exhusband was not what she expected.....but he opened her eyes to assuming responsiabilty for herself....love yourself and you can love everyone else.....but you have to be WIDE AWAKE.....MAKE CHOICES WE WONT REGRET.....AND LIVE IN THE MOMENT....WIDE AWAKE!

    she was thinking that someone was amazing and she wanted them to be hers forever and thenshe was falling for him but then she had a hard fall back do to earth and had to leavethem becuase it was a break up but it wasnt that hard becuase she got over it becuase he was a jerk to her and she wishes that she knew what she knows now
