   This song is aimed towards fans who self harm or want to die. They used the name 'Diana' because of Princess Diana who suffered with severe depression. They are also saying, you, as in a Directioner, are what are keeping them alive, and if they found out one of there fans committed suicide, then they would be devastated and maybe blame themselves for not trying to help you.

   I think the name Diana is used as princess Diana suffered with depression. I think it is about the fans who are going through a difficult time. I know a lot of people say it's about suicidal and fans that self harm but notice how they sing it like "die Ana" Ana is a term used for anorexic people. So it could also be about fans with eating disorders

   This song was about all those fans who cut and self harm them selfs. The reason they picked the name Diana is cause of princess Diana and her past. Princess Diana suffered from depression, and self harmed her self. They also didn't want to pick a random name, because if that was your name u might think it was aimed towards you.    I believe it is about the girls who self harm and I am one of them. I cried hearing this song it is ment to make us who feel like no one cares they are here for us. One Direction is in aspiration and they will be here for us fans no matter what.
