I would say it's about addiction and suicide. As two people feed off one another in an addiction like heroin and one or both struggle for resolution the other torments the strong one at that time with a shift of objectiveness back and forth until he gives in to the temptation and finally commits suicide. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but the lyrics to this song fit this phenomona perfectly if I'm wrong.
