Isolation Lyrics

on Amazon Music

When all is lost to you inside
When all the darkness takes the light
The ritual it has begun
And now you tear away from everyone
Disconnected so alone yeah
Severed ties from all you know

Isolation Brings you to the end
Until you love...

This is one of my favorite Alter Bridge songs. it is quite inspirational. Basically what it's talking about is after a bad relationship, whether it is with a friend and/or romance, we isolate ourselves which in reality makes our lives worse.
When the part "And learn to love along the way, to make things better" comes out, you can tell that what they are trying to imply is that by starting to love again it will make it better.
Their main target of audience is isolated and hurt people through relationships, imho. Amazing song!!!

You can't live your life in isolation. Isolation makes you weak because you do not learn from the experiences of the outside world. The singer says you must leave behind your isolation and love again in order to be happy in life.
