    Let me tell you this...
I don't see why Judas is seen as "evil" or "satanic"
    Yes, he betrayed Jesus.
Does that mean Judas was evil? does that mean he's satan?
    No..
How many people betray someone these days?
    A LOT
Does that mean that everyone is evil? everyone is satan? we live in hell?
i just wish that some people would stop thinking so black/white

I don't think this song could only be refering to love and relationships, but any situation that you're living and simply you can't escape from it.

That's why the cover of this song reminds me a tattoo because when you got it, you can't remove it. As living in a closed box.

My insight of this song is that the line "King with no crown" represents Jesus because despite people considering him the "King of Kings" he had no crown or anything royal to prove to the world however he was still looked up to

yeah people--might want to read the bible-instead of just bashing it......She is constantly trying to tell everyone she is not who she appears to be.....is really lucipher, or satan...the bible says in the end that satan would begin to reveal himself; also says that Satan is the ultimate liar, deceiver...Wake up!!!! She IS a 'vehicle' for satan.....

Ok so w e asshole was saying that Gaga wanted to end christianity is a f******* moron. It is all a metaphor but not for what some of u dumbasses think.Towards the end she is in the bath tub with 'Judas' and 'Jesus' and u see she chooses Jesus. But is stoned for her minor betrayal so stfu im so sick of hearing "Oh it's blasphame blah blah fucking blah." It is not.I'm semi religous,I believe in God,I go to church and if Honestly thought that Mama Monster was slamming God I wouldn't listen to her ok?Now stfu who really cares its a good song.If u dont like it dont friggin listen to it!

I am amused at someone above equating religion with Christianity. Christianity is not and never was a religion. If Mother Monster wants to see an end to all organised religion then my response would be - GoGo Lady GaGa. But remeber, this does not mean that Mummy Monster is anti-Christian, it may well imply the opposite.

I had the chance to read over the comments and this song is without a doubt a blashphemy against Jesus and God. There are three reasons why I have come up with this conclusion. One: the album cover has a picture of a red cross and the word judas, that is a picture against jesus as he died on the cross for our sins. Second: yes, the song could have a million meanings, however the name judas should never be used, it stands for betrayal against good, specifically jesus. Three: where is her song about Jesus? God? Someone said if you do not like it do not listen. They are correct I am boycotting her I will not listen nor buy her cd's, music etc. I encourage anyone who agrees to boycott as well.

This song is simple and it is very much against God and jesus of course. First I read a note that said if you do not like her do not listen, this is true I will not listen to her, however I encourage you all to stop listening, buying, etc. The song could mean anything this is true, however let's look at three key things, one: the album cover has a cross and the name judas, that is blashphemy, two: the name judas should not be used, ever! it stands for evil and betrayal and three: where is her song about God? Jesus? Why is this song ok? I am boycotting her immediately, I hope someone will read this and stop listening as well

Lmao seriously?? Illuminati? Stop being naïve people.. You all claim you're christians.. If you're christians why are you judging people? Who are you to judge? You're not God. We don't know her so it's unfair that we say shit about something we don't even know about. If you don't like her songs fine don't listen to it. But don't judge! That doesn't make you any better than her. If she was satanic she would come right out and say it

I know people don't believe there isn't a dark meaning behind the song "Judas" but I really think you need to open your eyes. I'm not a person who goes to church every week (although i should) but I know pure evil when I see it. My perception on all of this is she doesn't bow down to Jesus and she would rather serve Judas (who is the betrayer of Jesus). Some of you are saying she is speaking of past relationships but I ask you, why choose Jesus and Judas as characters? Alot of singers sing about past relationships but you don't see them making a public mockery of Jesus! Open your eyes seriously...
