It's just me and her and I think she was always meant to be. We have our struggles but I love her and will do 'for a thousand years'. As we overcome our struggles we are just'one step closer'. Think we were always destined to be together and unbeknown to me, I have loved her for a thousand years.

He lived a good life but one complicated with rare illnesses which he would always win the battle with. So many times I was told he would not make it and I never believed in our capacity to beat the odds.
He grew up and fell in love and had a child. The cancer came back. Multiple cancers - stage IV. He went through immunity transplant with his brother. His brother wanted to give him his lung, his leg, whatever it took. I wanted to give up my job to be with him but his wife was at first by his side. By the time my son's health started failing miserably I realized that his wife had not been with him, taking care of him. She was out with another man, got pregnant with this man's child, moved this man into the house my son used to live in. I understood why his health failed...his heart broke at the callousness of another human being when he would never ever have done that to someone. He was too proud to tell us, to worry us, to bother us with this.
This song means to me my unconditional, unending love for his continued suffering without ever complaining. By his side we could beat anything but unrequited love during this precarious time did kill him. He is still with me in my heart. I long for a do over. A chance to find out sooner and to make a difference (but could I)? I couldn't mend his broken heart. But I waited for a thousand years to meet someone like him and this was my baby, my little boy, my young adult son, my grown son as a man with a child of his own. I will wait a thousand years to meet him again in another life time or in heaven. A piece of him lives forever in my heart. Always. -

Even though this song is orginally from Christianna Perri (idk if i spelt that right lol)I am in love with this song.This song is very important to me because I am currently in a realishionship, and this song represents us so well. I always listen to this and just imagine me and that person together and it makes me happy. I hope other people out there will found someone as amazing i did:)

My sweet son passed from mental illness. He was the most beautiful man that anyone could imagine. His friends called him an angel, which he was. He suffered in silence alone for years and never complained. I think everyday of him, that I wish I would have known his pain, that I could have spared him the anxiety he went through everyday, somehow.
I loved my son more than life itself and this song speaks to everything I feel for him. I have loved and will love him for a thousand years. We’re connected and this song keeps me going, also that he knows wherever he is, that we will see each other again, and that nothing will ever change that. Dedicated to my beautiful baby boy! x

My interpretation of this is not about romantic love but that of finding ourselves again. Self love. Discovering and accepting our true self as we should be.
I also see this song as the discovery for the love of God, spirituality or a higher self.
Either way the song is about an unconditional love.

When I went to Nashville to see my cousin I want to come up with a song from my favorite movie the greatest showman because I’ve always find different movies and record some music in my church and write it then Ben can write about ourselves to be in high school or something to come up with, then when we write the music we have a session near Nashville, and Chattanooga then the producer came in and talk to us, and he told us that love ballads is about desiring and being in love but me and Ben aren’t in love because we’re friends but we stuck with love ballads about Kate and William. Because they’ve been married about 27 years, maybe, that’s why I wrote it at my church and told our story to be who we are and make choices we choose to be in love but we’re glad we’re doing pop duets.

But I’m really into movie soundtrack. But I was online finding some movies on the soundtrack and see what I can do for movies. It’s so much fun.
