   Everybody should know that this song is about Crybaby being taken advantage of by a boy who only wants her for her body. She loves him but he doesn't love her. And he probably just used her to have sex and Crybaby is heartbroken by him.
   
   So Crybaby tells him "I'm not a piece of cake, for you to just discard!" means that he can't just date her and leave her when he's done.
   
   Another part that goes "If I am just a piece, I am just a piece of cake, then you're just a piece of meat, you're just a piece of meat to me!" I thought was talking about how Crybaby gets used by the boy and how he used her for sex.

   This song might actually be for the person Melanie Martinez raped don't know if it's true but look it up It says "I'm not a piece of cake for you to just discard, while you walk away" She is saying that because her best friend who she *raped* she told her that she can't be friends with her anymore because she has to stay on top of her career. I could be wrong though because it seems like the person in cake was in love when the best friend was not so it's considered rape.    The song is about a girl who loves someone very much and they would make a great couple ("We have all the ingredients, except you needing me") , but the other person (in this context a boy) was only interested in taking advantage of her and leaving.
   
   Her compliments in the song were her listing that he has good traits and that she feels safe with him.
   The comments about her missing something whenever he leaves is because she has feelings for him.
   
   
   "I'm not a piece of cake for you to discard" Her reflecting on her self that she is unique and he shouldn't throw her away.
   
   "Walk away with the frosting of my heart" Take advantage of her, and leave her nothing.

   Saying that she is taking charge of the situation and going to make him regret what he has done and want her love back.

   Turning it around, meat is easily replaceable while cake is uniquely made and hard to replicate. She is not going to be easy and taken advantage of, but the guy she liked is easily replaceable.

    My interpretation is that Crybaby has a crush on this male person in the song and that she loves him so much that she gave her virtue/virginity to him, and he took it and then left her and broke her heart. The reason for this interpretation is because I have a crush and this song kinda describes him how I would...except for the chorus because I wouldn't give away my virtue at this age, and I never kissed him so don't know what his kiss would be like.I did bite him once though.. don't question this..
